Alternate Lateral Jump

This is a great exercise for golfers who want to improve their balance and coordination. Begin with a shoulder-width distance between your feet and keep your arms at your sides. Jump laterally to the right, landing on your right foot and bringing your left foot up behind you. Immediately jump back to the left, landing on your left foot and bringing your right foot up behind you. Repeat this jump for 30 seconds.

Cat & Camel

This is a great exercise for improving your golf swing. Start by kneeling on the ground, then place your hand behind your head and interlace your fingers. Next, slowly arch your back until you feel a stretch in your upper back and shoulders. Hold this position for 20–30 seconds, then reset and repeat a few times.

Split Squat

Stand with feet shoulder-width apart, holding a golf club horizontally across your back at about waist level. Bend your knees and lower your hips until both legs are nearly at 90-degree angles, keeping your back straight and shoulders square. Return to standing by pressing through your heels. Do 10–12 reps per side.

Sword Draws

Start with your feet together and your weight balanced. Shift your weight to your left foot and take a backswing, stopping when the club is parallel to the ground. Bring the club back down to the ball, striking it on the upswing. Finish with your weight on your right foot, following through after impact. This golf drill is great for improving your accuracy and distance control.

Hip Drops

hipsStart in a golf stance with your feet shoulder-width apart and your knees flexed. Slowly drop your hips to the left, keeping your shoulders level and your spine straight. Return to the starting position, then repeat on the right side. Do 10 reps on each side.
